Default 1994 GT Tempature Gauge

Hey Guys, great forum! I'm glad I found it.
My '94 Mustang GT temp gauge reads between N and O when fully warmed up. The highest I've seen it is between the O and R.
Is this normal or what should I replace to make it read normal?

Regards
Randy

I think it's normal, mine reads just about the same. Keep in mind though that the stock guages arent exactly of the highest quality but if your car insnt modded and its basically just for the street, I wouldnt worry about it.

I hear ya, I'm just wondering if the gauge is even close to being accurate.

mine runs sometimes a little over half mark- on the m sometimes. Most of time it hovers around half way mark though

My 94 runs the same way. Pulled some codes earlier today because of a different issue and came up with a 116 - Coolant temp lower than expected.

Not sure if it's normal or not, because it's been like that since I got the car. The code obviously makes me think it should be running hotter.

hey lad, my temp gauge stays around the top of the O. I put aftermarket gauges on and it seems the run at 195 here in florida. I thought that seemed high. I wonder what the normal running temp should be. Matty O'Neill
