Question Where's the 94-95 Mustang diagnostic plug fault code reader located?

Hi,

Where's the diagnostic plug on the 94-95 5.0ltr engine and what type of code reader do I need? Is it the ford three pin type?

Pics would be great if possiable as the engine is not in a mustang but a brooklands ac ace !!

Thanks

Neil

On a 94-95 mustang, the diagnostic plug is on the passenger side firewall in the engine compartment. I would say that the length of connective wire between the PCM and plug limits it to the firewall or passenger side fender area on something else - assuming that the computer is in the passenger side interior kick panel.

you need an OBD I type reader.

the hook ups are behind the passenger strut tower.

and yes the PCM is in the passenger kick panel.

I hope this helps.
