You can get lots of power from a stroker, but you will also need better heads, cam and intake. There are several ways to get there,

1) buying a long block complete with heads ,cam and intake
2) Shortblock and buying heads/intake separately
3) Buying a complete CRATE engine, which has a bit more parts than a long block
4) Buy a stroker kit (rotating assembly) and have someone fit that into your existing block.

My choice would be 1 ir 3, which require less hand labour and will reduce costs significantly.

Investment at around 4 thousand and up $.
