I have a 95 5.0 HO. auto. w/ 130kmiles
Im having problems starting it. Some times it starts right up, other times it will turn over but not start. Ive replace the distributor, the coil and the distributor cap. I can hear the fuel part turn on. It was running fine for about 3wks. Now it would start. I kept trying but it would turn over and not start.

Any ideas?

Next, you will need to check and see if there is spark when the problem occurs.

Wow I spelled a lot of things wrong. Sorry it was like 3am when I posted it.

Anyways, I know im going to sound like a idiot.
But how do I check for spark?

I am having the same problem as well. Starts one day - runs a few days - then car won't start. The mechanic installed a new ignition module but to no avail.

I am now thinking the Hall-effect PIP inside the distributor.
Possibly the CCRM (hope not, that is about $150 module).

I had the same exact problem with my 95 gt. It's a relay that's gone bad. It sucks too, because when I took it to the dealership which is pretty much the only place that can really fix this problem, it is intermittent so they can't see the problem. I spent over 700 dollars fixing this problem because first they told ,e it was a bunch of other stuff and when it continued to do it I had to take it back in. but it ended up being a bad relay in the wiring. If you take it to a dealership and tell them you have intermittent problems and you know it is probably a relay they should be able to fix it relatively cheaply and quickly.

I was having the same problem in my 95 GT .. it turned out to be the fuel pump .. have not had a problem since replacement.

I had that problem before too and this is what i did. 1st check if you have spark when you have the problem if not don't worry is not the coil ,then whe the promblem still check if you have fuel pressure by pressing in your fuel valvle while the fuel pump is on if you have fuel and u don't have spark then probaly is the pickup stator hers an url http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...ickup%2FStator

Mine was a bad wiring problem......the positive cable wasnt getting the connection it needed to start the car.

My car actually stop doing it so far.
I have driven it in like a week because im getting my tranny replaced.
But it wasnt giving me any hard times
But ill let you guys know how it runs in a few days.
