hello i just bought a new set of wires 9 mm ford racing #m-12259-r301 i have 94 mustang gt 5.0. My problem is that the wire going from the centre of the distrubutor to the coil wont fit it will plug perfect to the distrubulor but not the coil totaly differant end is this a wrong set of wires or is there a way this can fix???? thanks

Yeah, I just put a set on mine, and had the same problem. Right now I have the stock wire on, but I have a new TFI coil on the way, and I hope it works on that.

I carefully took the end off of the old coil wire and transfered it to the FRP coil wire. Took my time and when I was done it looks like it was made that way and clips on to the coil.

huh? matter of fact when i bought my 89 lx it had ford racing plug wires on it and it had the stock wire running from the coil also.the previouse owner must of had the same problem.wonder why ford makes um like that?
