AODE trouble! Any ideas? I have a 94 mustang GT with a whole list of bolt ons. But I took a long trip from central IL to Little Rock, AR and something weird happened on that trip. On the way home around St. Louis I was cruising down Interstate around 75 mph and all of a sudden it felt like someone shut the AODE button off that is located next to the shifter. Going from about 2,000 rpm to about 3,500-4,000. I had a B&M shift kit installed by a certified technician, but every once in a while it does the same thing.
Cruising just fine no sliping, no banging, shifts great. But every once in a while it just seems to slip out of overdrive? And then about 2 seconds later kicks back into overdrive like nothing has happened at all.
I have tried reading forums before and saw similiar problems, but no one with this exact problem. So if anyone knows anything a sensor replacement, fluid change, transmission rebuild let me know because it is starting to become very frustrating!
Thanks a lot!
