hey guys i was wondering if anyone could give me approx hp gains from a cobra upper and lower intake and also a 65mm tb
(my mods now are 11psi powerdyne, 76mm maf, mac headers, mac xpipes, 1.7 rockers, and few more all adds to 313rwhp dyno tuned)
right now the car is doing 13.7 1/4 mile and i wanna go faster any help would be appreciated i was thinkin also about gettin the famous e303 cam that should give me ???? more ponies thnx

Wow, you're putting over 300 to the wheels and only running a 13.7? You need some suspension work my friend I HIGHLY suggest you give this guy a call, his name is Jay Allen, he will be your best friend, awesome guy, SUPER knowledgable.... Go to his web http://www.camshaftinnovations.com/ And give him a call. He does custom camshafts and his work is amazing. He's got guys running with his parts and putting down less than 350 rwhp and running 10's in the quater.... I've talked to him myself a good bit and he's going to be putting together a new head/cam combo for me Trust me, this is the guy to go to!

I won't talk about your time, as I know nothing about your 60 foot and stuff. But to give you an idea, I see 12 pounds of boost on my vortech, stock cam, cobra upper and lower, 1.7 rr, 65mm tb and I make over 500 rwhp. It's all about the tune. I'm not as good as racer I guess as these 350 rwhp guys running 10's but I see mid 11's all day on drag radials.

damn thats pretty good i didnt think the cobra upper n lower could handle so much power as someone said they are limited to about 370rwhp but i guess not, I guess i should see a big difference in power when i put that cobra intake with the 65mm tb i have 1.7 r.r's the only diff is am running a 11lbs powerdyne which is not as good as the vortech i dunno about those guys how they do it running 10's with only 350rwhp i have to see that, i'll be content with mid to high 12's in the 1/4

Now i'm not trying to say you should be running 10's at all! I'm just trying to show that you don't need a ton more power to lower your quater mile times! Something is definately holding you back though, and it seems suspension related. Now im not sure if you just want more power to go faster in the quater... or to just go faster literally lol. But i would definately go talk to Jay at camshaftinnovations, he will make you a cam for your exact combo. It'l cost about $400 but if you go over and register on sbftech.com before you order, he will give you free freight shipping



Just for an example of some of Jay's work Jay is working on a project called Red Death it's a 1989 Mustang Sedan running with a set of gt-40P heads, gears, one of his cams etc... Running completely N/A and running a 11.53 at 117.1.

LMAO..Mr. Bob..do you know that guy. That's a freind of mine, Rich Smith, his car has been professionally made by Rhodes Custom Auto. He is a great guy and the car is simply AWESOME. I will be racing with him in the fall. Freaking small world. Eric Berman, who runs Click Click Racing is also a good friend, and his currently running in the high 9's. I think they are making a bit more then 350 though..and yeah they are pure race cars. Small world. lmao
