i have a 94' cobra 5.0 and the A/c just stoped working the other day, when i turn it on A/c or max A/c the condensor isnt even engaging, is it a fuse?, the two wires going go the unit are pushed in all the way, what should i do?
Could be the gas pressure switch, or there is no pressure in the system.
Here is an image of the pressure switch.
It is the one with 2 wires at the middle left of the image.
You can test by JOINING both wires, if the system has enough pressure, the AC will start, if it doesnt then maybe you need to refill.
ok i just tested it by conecting the two wires together and it engages and gets cool, so i plugged the conector back in and it engaged for about 30sec, then it would engage the disengae very quicly until it just stopped engaging, what should i do?
