Default 9007 100/80w or 9007 65/55w?

I want to know if anyone had problems using 100/80w headlight bulbs instead of the 65/55w bulbs. The lighting is superior with the 100/80 but i dont want to melt or fry any electrical component on the car. If anyone had a good or bad experience, please let me know!

Thanks!

Run the headlights off of relays instead, so the bulbs see FULL battery voltage. Going through the headlight switch they don't. You'll notice a big difference. You won't need higher wattage bulbs then.

Also, the factory wiring is not designed (not large enough) for high wattage bulbs.
