Default Lowering a SN95

As you all know the SN95 and later have an incredible gap between the wheelwells and tires. Supposedly for chain in the winter??? What I'd like to do in the near future is lower my 95 a couple inches...Anyways, have any of you done this before, or have good suggestions on how to go about this?

I used Eibach Pro kit springs on my 97GT, looks bad ass but you really caster camber plates to make it drive right. I am still debating on getting some. I have all dofferent brands of stuff and a,m tired of spending money. If i had it to do over again I would have got the Bullitt handling kit and just had a .75 inch drop and been done. http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr...roducts_id=458

i have the eibach sportline springs.and a ford racing aluminum driveshaft and the driveshaft rubs like hell on just about any bumps. and just for get about any body riding in your back seat.with one person rididng in car when excelerating it rubs.i am going to get some air airbgs for the back to stiffen up the springs in the back.stock driveshaft doesent do it as much but it still happens.just something to think about.i still love the way my car looks!get the caster camber plates!!!! trust me

I've been running BBK springs for 3 years in my 94 convertible with no major problems; not a dramatic drop but really improves the profile. Will occasionally scrape the K member on speed bumps. Handling and steering much improved.

I purchased Ford Racing,s kit. Comes w/ springs/shocks/sway bars f/r. Also purchased new control arms for rear. Installed Hotchkis Delta caster/camber plates as well as a bump steer kit. Stiff ride but handles great.

I put in the FRP B spring kit. The ride actually got better with the progressive rate springs. BTW the springs in the box were Eibachs. Follow one of the links in my signature to see a side view of my car.

FRP B springs same drop as in Bullit kit? (1")-yours looks really good. How do you like your engine mods? Similar to what I'm gonna do + F303 cam,and still debate on AFR165 or GT40x heads, but gonna use Cobra Induction like you did.
Kelso used the Bullitt kit,but I can't tell much from his avatar pic.

To answer the thread, there are lots of springs available to lower your car,the lower you go,the more "other" stuff you need to do. I've read that 1-1.5 inches you won't have to do shorter shocks/struts.Caster/camber plates won't be a necessity and offset rack bushings are "recommended" for more than a 1.5" drop

When I get to that point,I was planning on the Bullitt kit for mine

I swear by the Steeda sport springs. Have put them on many SN95 cars with no problems. I just picked a 95 GT. It currently has cut springs from the previous owner. no rubbing problems, but rides like crap.... I am going to with, without a doubt put the Steeda sport springs in. Also I agree with everyone else... Camber caster plates for sure. I have used steeda, UPR and BBKs. I like the BBKs the best..Just my 2 cents....
