so wich would be the best one for bolt on performace that doesnt require too much other things ???
but later on i want to add heads (too expensive for now).
The performer rpm 2 is great with better flowing heads.
The performer is a stock replacement for stock heads. not much of an advantage using them.
The Holley is mediocre at best with poor craftsmanship.
The trick flow R respectable but not on stock heads.
I vote for the trick flow street heat intake it has room for better flowing heads, and will still give a nice increase on stock heads.
The gt 40 intake, and the cobra intake work well with the stock heads its a ford replacement.

hi guys!!! i recently was watching on ebay for intake manifolds and there was this guy selling a gt-40 upper and lower intake and on the description it said that it didn't fit 94-95 gt mustangs only 86-93 and i was like HUGH i recently saw a yellow 95gt with the gt-40 intake why is that ??? do u only have to buy the elbow so it can fit in our cars ???
The GT-40 will git in a 95 as fkloss has pointed out, (I have it as well.) and it can support over 350 hp.
That being said I would go with either the RPM II or GT-40.
But you cant go wring with the Trick-Flow either. These intakes all make about the same hp on a 302 within a few numbers of each other, the only real question I can think of is where in the rpm band will they make the numbers.
Here is my sons 95 gt with gt40 intake.
Brace has to come off to clear and will fit stock hood! Attachment 21882
man i love that intake , it looks awesome and performs great !!!
anybody now were i can get brand new ???and like how much HP does the it give u with the whole lower and upper intake???

Yeah that intake is a prototype and is good for 30 horsepower. Right now with stock heads and 4.10 gears on a AODE it has run 9.3 with street tires in the 1/8 and spinning so we think with slicks it will run maybe a 9.1 . Dynoed 225 rear wheels,my son is lookking at aftermarket heads.

The GT-40 is no prototype, its been around forever at this point.

Stonecold your right! However the one on my sons car was one. It is one of the 1st back from the late 80's, I believe! It still is a great intake never the less.
