I'm wondering if some1 here knows a lot about Diablo Chips (or any other chips by all means) and the EEC IV. (I happen to have 1 of this chips installed right now)
The doubt came when I decided to switch fro AODE to T-5. Can this Diablo Chip tell the EEC IV I now have a 5 speed
tranny instead of the automatic? I know there're several programs which can perform this mods, like the EEC-Tuner or the Tweecer. I've also heard that I need this programation to avoid the O/D light to pop on and to get better engine performance.
I once asked the Diablo Dealer here in Mexico if he can program a chip to use 24# injector without changing the MAF, he said "no", but the people at Diablo Sports say the can in ther web page and their adds.
So now I've come to the knowledge that the EEC IV if a "1 Bank Computer" and the EEC V is a "4 Bank Computer", and that the EEC V is easer to modify using a chip and so on... In short words, this Diablo dealer can't or won't make me a Chip to: gain performance with specific parts, use a T-5 and 24# injectors
So please, if you guys have had a Diablo Chip burned with some of this mods, please let me know, so that I can have some argues with this dealer and make him ask Diablo about my special programation. Jus in case you're wondering, this are the mode I'm installing ins my car.

GT 40 iron heads full ported
Cobra intake
1.72 roller rockers (FRPP)
A small cam... maybe the FRPP E303 or a Lunatti.
When they take my engine appart I'm gonna have the pistons check, and maybe have a 306 overbore if they're to wasted (I hope they're not).
A Vortech SQ-V2 is in the letter to Santa this year, but since I've already spent some $ on the pieces above, Santa might be a little "out of budget", so I'll have to wait 'till my B-Day
