Its when you change out the MAF or the injectors, thats when it gets messed up. with the GT computers you can use 19lb maf and injectors, the cobra computer can use 19 or 24 lb, but the maf and injectors have to match. I am not sure what computer numbers are. But I dont thin CAI will mess up your MAF or computer.
