Default Is long-tubes worth the trouble?

Just wondering if any one has put long-tubes on, and if it was worth it?

over a grand to add 15 hp not worth it. if money is not your concern its worth it.
headers 3 to 4 hundred plus cats 2 to 5 hundred plus catback 3 to 5 hundred then the install add 2 to 5 hundred.

how do you figure its cheaper than a grand? it is at least a grand if you want it to last more than a year!

I guess i will see how bad of a pain it is. I just bought BBK longtubes and matching H pipe off Ebay. I paid $325 for them. The header coating was not in good shape. I took them and the H pipe to a local coating shop and they said it would cost about $300 to have the headers and the H pipe professionally ceramic coated. I will have $625 spent on this and it will last a long time. They are supposed to get them back to me this week.

Update: I took off my factory headers and h pipe yesterday. It was pretty easy. Keep in mind my car has only 20K miles on it. I will be putting on my BBK LT's and h pipe sometime this week.

No cats for me. My headers are still at the coating shop. They tried a new coating that they had never used. It didn't turn out I guess. Atleast the guy wanted me to get a decent quality job. Some places would have just called it good.
