i have a 1994 cobra and when ever i rev it up with the clutch in the idle will hang at the rev up peak for about 3 to 5 secs, or when im just normal driving and when i depress clutch to shift gears the idle will hang at the rpm point in which i depressed the clutch at until i engage it in to another gear. has anybody seen this problem with the sn5.0 cars. would that IAC spacer for $25 fix this problem. Ohh the throttle cable is not hanging for sure, in case u were wondering.

yes actually a lot of people have this problem with not just there 94-95's but also their 87-93's.i have heard that the iac restrictor plate your talking about does get rid of the problem.I have also been having a problem with my 95gt surging. i have a bbk throttle body and it has a screw right by the iac that you can adjust for the iac's airflow.this may also help you out.screw it in some {if you can on the stock one} and that should help you out.that is why it is doing it....because the iac is flowing air into your intake.if you bring it to ford with that problem they will put an iac restrictor plate on.thats just how they fix it...so that may be your best bet.
