I'm changing my gears in the near future, and I just have a few questions.
First, my car pulls hard til above 6500...should I go with 4.10's or 3.73's? (I have a T5, and gas mileage is not an issue)
Second, what are all the parts needed to change gears? (Do I need just ring & pinion, if more, what else?) I will purchase the parts then bring them to one of the local Ford dealerships for installation.
I will be adding a supercharger in the future. (1 to 2 years from now) Does this change my gear selection?
4.10's dont fear the gear if i was the one who did my gears i would of went 4.10 no questions asked mayb even 4.30's old school boys were running 4.56's on 4 speed transmissions...

Unless your car is an auto, I would stick with the 3.73's. Also you might want to invest in a rebuild kit. Depending on how hard you drive the car, you might need to replace something. Also don't forget about the gear oil, your gonna need about 3 bottles to be safe and make sure you use Royal Purple. So depending on what type of supercharger you go with a set of 3.73's will be a good gear to go with.

Well if he puts a supercharger on he will be shifting into 5th before the quarter is over. lol 3.73's are a great gear, and will work perfect for the quarter and with a supercharger.
