Default helppp!!! car wont turn on. 94 gt 5.0 auto

ok this is kinda getting frustrating. i bought this car for 600.00 dlls and it ran pretty good when i test drove it but now that i own it it wont turn on. at first some friend told me to start with the rotor then the wires and plugs and so on so on.... i took it to a mechanics a week ago and they told me it was the computer so a hop on over to the local auto zone ang get me one and bammm no power so i returned it got a new one today and nothing. the car attempts to turn on but nothing. now they installed a compuetr from another mustang they just dont know wich one cuz they had it in their pile of parts, well it turns on and runs but it has a feeling like if one of my plugs was off or not working. just talked to the dudes today and they can really get whats wrong with the car and im frustrated cuz they have been working on it all week and the labor is going to kill me. anyone out there with a similar situation please help man just bought this car and i really want to keep it but im really thinking twice already.

The cpu would be my last guess.

"At first some friend told me to start with the rotor then the wires and plugs and so on so on."

Look for spark then fuel. use a screwdriver pull the plug from the center of the cap insert screw driver then turn it over. no spark at the coil? or pull a spark plug wire check it the same way no spark at the plugs?
use a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail no fuel at the injectors?
(you could have 1 bad injector) or more. Causing a miss, or still have a bad wire? did you or he use the wrong spark plugs? Lots of thing could be happening CPU? keep trying just go back over it. make sure the spark is there, make sure the fuel is there. check the # on the CPU One is for a automatic one is for a stick. one is for a cobra. which one do you have? most of these things are free to check. Take a screw driver and short out the sylonoid to try and get it to jump start from under the hood.

check the ignition control module under the air filter. its a metal/silver amplifier looking box. or i could be the stator inside the distributor. these are common issues for the 94/95 5.0 no start conditions.

ok just got the car back they tried everything and they came up with the conclusion that it was the cpu. they replaced it with two new ones for that make and model and nothing. they installed a ford cpu and it starts. my question is why wont it start with the new ones but will with a cpu that might not even belong to a mustang.
