Question 1994 Mustang GT Mexican made vs USA model. What are the diffrences?

i just bought this car and the speedometer is in km instead of the regular mph. how can you tell if its a mx. car or a us car. is their much of a diffrence. i havent done the final paperwork and no money hasnt been given the person just happened to give me the car ahead of time so i can decide if i want to keep it or not. ive been having problems with the car not turning on, so i took it to a shop and they said it was the cpu so they decided to get a new one and nothing so they tried an old cpu from god knows what kind of ford and it turned on. so i was thinking that maybe if it was a mexican car the maybe u.s parts wont work as well or at all. like i said havent seen the paper work and not until this weekend.

also seeing how your in texas, keep in mind that the car may have been in the hurricane flooding, could be the cause of your electrical problems...IMO i would not shell out any cash until you have the history of the car...

There are NO differences, mexican cars are exported into mexico from the US.

Everything is IDENTICAL.

Canadian cars have metric speedos. I think the VINs on them are 2FACP##X#XX######, where a US model is 1FACP..........

I was checking out some Mexican Stangs on foureyedpride, and they're showing one with a metric speedo. It looks like it has red illumination, so I'm guessing it's an '83-'86.
