Question 1995 Mustang Clutch Cable Adjustment. How to adjust it?

Hey I just got back home from the middle east and in my 95 5.0 the clutch pedal, 1/2 of it just play like something is loose. So I was wondering how do I adjust the clutch pedal/cable????

Welcome back. Thanks for kicking @$$ for me!
Ideally, you'd just pull up on the clutch pedal, and the self-adjuster would do the work. However, those self-adjusters are cheap plastic junk, and usually fail.
If this is the case, buy yourself one of the manually adjusting cable, metal quadrant setups. You have several options, such as a firewall adjuster which will allow you to use your original cable if it's still good. This is one of the best improvements you can make to a Mustang, in terms of durability and reliability.

Exactly what meangreen said.

But I would add: Getting the Steeda Firewall Adjuster+Quick Release Quadrant+Adjustable cable was the best investment I made in my car.

I have about 3/4" of Play, then another 1.5" and I can shift. I love it like that, makes it easy to shift quicker. All and all it'll be about $100 max with shipping, and one of the best mods you can do to the car.

It IS a pain tho, getting up under the dash to change the quadrant.

The firewall adjuster lets you adjust it just by opening the hood, and on the 94/95s it sits just behind and to the right of the upper intake plenum. I still can't get over how much I love it. Shifting is 100x smoother, quicker, and I have more confidence in it now, because there isn't some piece of craptastic plastic pulling the cable.

Edit: One thing of note, from the people I've talked to the Double Hook Quadrant does not provide enough leverage to pull a big clutch well, if you plan on going with a better clutch, get the Quick Release one.
