Default Proven Combo - 206 rwhp

206 rhwp
280 lb/ft tq

The engine WAS running lean, but it's running fine now, verdict was a bad fuel pump. So here are the 4 mods on the car (other than a good tune up). Manual Transmission.

Stock Timing
C&L 76mm MAF w/ TruFlow Inlet Pipe
Magnapack Cat-Back Exhaust
Aeromotive FPR
255 lph BBK Fuel Pump

I am extremely happy with these numbers, as with just the C&L it was running at over 18:1 A/F with 176 rhwp. Got it richened up to 13.2:1 with the cat-back and it was pushing 206.

This is also a post for the people who were asking why it was running lean and wanted to know the fix.

Why do you have stock timing? Timing is FREE horsepower!

Because I've been trying to find a timing light I can use that I wouldn't have to pay someone for and wasn't going to bump the timing up while it was running lean.

Got a new Balancer (current one is so rusty/grimy I can't read **** on it anyways.. plus the stock ones suck) and Timing Light. It'll be bumped up by the weekend.

I'll have it redynoed with: Pullies, Advanced Timing, Long-Tube Headers, High-Flow X-Pipe (With Cats.. Gotta pass Emissions). I'll repost the numbers in early March probably.. I'm really hoping for 220+ rwhp. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

My buddy has a '92 F-150 with some mods and he ran a 15.8, then we bumped up the timing 2 degrees (from 12 degrees to 14 degrees) and his 1/4 mile ET went down to 15.6. Timing is everything!

Well, since I blew one of my cats in half it's not going to be on the dyno again for a while. It also looks like the lean issue could possibly be caused by an injector. So.. I'll tear the 19#s out and toss in 24#.

Throwing new O2 Sensors, new intake air sensor, and new water temp sensor at it. The IAC broke and will be replaced, and the TPS is currently sitting at .951 Volts. It'll take a couple months to get all this done, but it'll be running in the mean time, just not racing.

It'll be completely emissions legal as well with Smog Pump and EGR, as well as the AC still on it. So I'm not expecting insane results.. unfortunately. I'd love to be able to run cat-less.

Current Mods:

C&L 76mm Cold Air w/ MAF System
Magnapack Cat-Back Exhaust
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator (Adjustable)
BBK In-tank 255 lph Fuel Pump
Pioneer SFI Approved Racing Balancer

When it does go on it'll have these mods added:

Steeda 5.0L Underdrive Pullies
24# FRPP Injectors
Aeromotive Fuel Rails
FRPP Throttle Body (65mm or 75mm, gotta talk to people)
Cobra Upper and Lower
BBK Short Tube Headers (Torquey)
BBK Catted X-pipe
22 Range Motorcraft Plugs
JBA Performance 9mm Cables
PS-91 Crane Coil
Advanced Timing
SCT Performance Tune
Custom Fabricated Heat Shield for the K&N Filter
Completely Heat Wrapped Intake Track to the Upper Manifold

Additional Mods Not Performance Related:

High Flow Water Pump
200 Amp Alternator
180* Thermostat
Rev Limit Changed to 5500 RPMs
