like the title says every time i take off slow and my secon gear kicks in the car strats to shake and rattle and the noise seems to be coming from the back end. as soon as it kicks into second and this with a mild foot on the pedal. it just starts to shake for a couple of seconds until it picks up speed slowly. now this also happens when i floor it too so it has nothing to do with the speed its just that its more noticable when im going slow. please help this is the last problem i have with this car before i decide to buy it this weekend.

I'm one for free fixes. Perhaps your bolts are loose on your control arms or driveshaft... basically anything to do with your rear-end. 2nd gear on a lot of tranys is known to be more of a torque gear, and perhaps the loose bolts cause shake until centrifugal force takes over and balances it out. Just a starter..

well i was womdering i did notice one of the rear wheels is slightly bent anyone think the the rattling would come from there? the problem is that it only shakes and rattles when im jumping into 2nd or 3rd gear.
