Default Ignition Kit (Box, Module, Coil) Advice

Basically looking for something that can grow with the car and has a good rev limiter that is adjustable in the 5600-6000 RPM range.

Doesn't need timing control since that will be taken care of with some other things.

Any advice would be appreciated, trying to find something that will completely out perform the stock unit and offer the most spark energy and Rev limiting ability.

As far as the Ignition Module, what are the benefits of changing it versus using the stock one?

Edit: I'd also like a two-step rev limiter on the box.

I would think the MSD 6A would be good. I've run it for several years and it will grow with the car. A 2 step can be added later but the box doesn't like being under the hood, I put it inside the passenger foot area. I also used the Holley Annihilator and that worked too, it's a little larger than the MSD. The ignition module can be had with added dwell in it, to help get a better spark so if you're thinking of something with boost, or already have it, it might be worthwhile getting one.

It'll only be running with NOS for right now, I'll be adding a supercharger further down the road, however.

I think it'd work on the NOS too. I've seen the full MSD (coil, box, wires, dist.) on friend's cars that run NOS and they didn't have problems.

The crane unit is better quality, and has stronger spark. Its digital electronics over msd analog.
