Default Clutch Question: Which one should I get?

I have a slipping ford motorsport clutch and an seeking replacement. A couple of shops offered Luk pro gold as a replacement.

Car is 1995 Mustang GT 5.0

Any thoughts? Yea or nay?

Motor is stock with some mild tweaking, mostly suspension and frame enhancements. Have a pro 5.0 shifter and want a clutch to match it.

BTW, transmission is stock T5

Default T5

Never heard of Luk Pro Gold. I like Centerline and Spec clutches for most performance applications, and its hard to beat the OE Ford clutch for easy pedal pressure.

While you have that T5 out, it would be the perfect time to check it over. If you're starting to have problems getting into the 3 lower gears, its synchro time.

Luk is a good OEM type clutch. That's what my friend uses at his transmission shop. I've gotten a couple of them from him, and gotten good service out of them.
He says that some of the manufacturers use Luks on new cars.
