Exclamation 1994 Cobra headers installed. Now bad engine miss! Could engine ground cause this?

so i installed long tube headers on my 94 cobra and ever since my car has a bad miss/studder under load. i have replaced plug wires, cap and rotor. and its still there. my question is I also replaced the motor mounts and by accident i tore out my engine ground eyelid and have not replaced it. has any one ever see wierd things happen with the engine ground not on? im gonna hook it up tommorrow but if that doesnt fix it my next thing will be replacing the spark plugs. this all started as soon as i installed my full lengths.

A missing/broken ground can cause a lot of electrical gremlins to pop up, like burning up your alternator, starter, dead battery, so I'd say replace it. Did you make sure the correct firing order is there? If you're using the same plugs as you had before, did you crack or hit one? I've seen both happen to before to experienced techs so check the little things first.
