Default gears affecting auto shift points?

I just got done searching but couldn't find it. I thought I read on here before that if I were to stick 4:10's in, ppl were having to let off a little bit to get the car to shift correctly. Is this true? I just got done dumping money into the transmission and was hoping I didnt have to buy a Tweecer to correct this. lol.

This is for a 95 gt vert with a PA automatic and edge converter.

Thanks.

OK, just checking. I guess I could always put them in and if the shiftpoints need moved one way or another, then I could mess with the computer.

The AODE can't deal with the increased gear ratio and somtimes hits rev-limiter before shifting with a stock computer.

do you have to get a tune to correct this? btw what are the numbers on your car? you seem to have every bolt on for your car

A TWEECER Tuner seems to be weapon of choice by many. My car does a 14.4 in the 1/4 and probably would be better with a tweecer.
