Hello everyone,

I have heard that it is not difficult to replace the tail lights in a 1995 with ones out of a 1996-1998.
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a cheap set? I've checked my local junkyards, but no luck.

dude your better of waiting for the junkyard to get a 96 and up car because these run a bit expensive, if i remember correctly i bought some back in the day for like 120 each and at the junkyard i found them for 45 each and ended up returning the new ones.

If you find a 96-98 stang, dont forget to grab the harnesses that goes into the back of the taillights because it's different than the 94-95. It just plugs right into our existing harnesses.

I'll keep my eyes open around the junkyards. I just want a junker with an intact rear end.

I'd rather find someone with a 96-98 that put in aftermarket lights and is willing to sell their originals.

I'm about to do the same to my 1995 GT Conv. I already have the wire harnesses required to do the job. No where on the harnesses does it say RH or LH side. How can I determine that or does it really matter?
