Hey I was wondering I am going to delete the egr valve on my 95 5.0. Now I was looking on ebay and found the simulator, and a delete plate for when you take the egr valve off. also a nut to put on the header. Do you think its worth it? also the only delete plate is for a fow 5.0 will that still work on the 94 and 95 5.0?
also do you know where I can just buy it all from one place instead of from 3 different people???

The block off plate can be found for the 94-95,this guy 'wazee' is where I got mine from-same seller that has the plate and the nut you linked to..I read in another thread that someone used the old nut from the bottom of the tube and put a coin in it and some silicone to block off the header,I put a set of Fox headers on mine-I was getting new ones anyway.
About that simulator thing,I'm not sure it works just right or if I have another problem-from a cold start,as the engine warms up to temp, sometimes(almost every) the CEL light will come on.After I stop and then start up again-no light,The only codes I get when I try to get it taken care of have to do with EGR and thermactor flow from the stored memeory.
back to the plate-I put roller rockers on,needed a taller valve cover to clear them-then the upper intake wouldn't sit onto the lower w/o a spacer, which I thought would cause hood clearance problems.I had to remove the fitting on the bottom on the drivers side and plug it..where the plate goes also hit the valve cover-I had to grind away enough to make it clear--I bolted it on and ground the plate and the "ear" of the EGR mount down almost as far as the lower bolt, also the griding was angled in and up.--
P.S.-the valve covers I bought fit well, have the holes in the right places, and I painted them to match the body-and got an oil fill tube from Summit Trick Flow Billet Oil Fill Kits: TFS-51400800 - summitracing.com --the oil fill tube

I bought my EGR eliminator simulator on ebay from copilot and it works fine. No CE light. I also made my own block-off plate for the intake manifold TB adapter and reused the female threaded nut from the EGR tube with a coin stuck inside to block off the exhaust manifold. Works beautifully.
