Default Which replacement water temperature gage

I would appreciate any information as to which replacement water temperature gage would be better, electical or mecanical for my 94 GT. I also wondered if unhooking the faulty original temperature gage from the sender would effect the gasoline gage as it and the water temp gage and the dash amphlifier are callibarated together.

Any suggestions as to which type of gage and why would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch!

U need the stock one working for the computer to see the car warming up. Go with electrical and use a adapter to use the stock one and the aftermarket one just find a brass fitting that will tee off to let them both work or find another spot.
