Cool what rear end do i have

1995 GT mustang 5 speed HO 5.0
do it have a 8.8 or a 7.5 how can i tell someone help please
id like to put in 3.73's but i need to know how could i get this info

the 7.5 are on the V6's the 8.8 on the GT'S, COBRAS.

All '86+ V8 Mustangs had an 8.8" rear as original equipment.

thanks guys i thought so! but when i went to the shop to buy the gears the guy there told me by the bolt patters on the back of the gears
it looked to be a 7.5 and i was like WHAT! this is a 5L not a v6
and he said by the book it says 7.5

The 7.5" rear's differential housing/cover has straight top and bottom rails and curved side rails. The 8.8" rear's differential housing/cover has straight top, bottom, and side rails.
