Default Convertible Top Motor

Where is it at? Anyone replace this? How difficult and how expensive?

Mine is very slow when I go to put it up until is gets started then it speeds up a bit. It will sometimes even stop a few inches after it starts up.

Thanks for any advice.....

Thanks, I will check it out and see if it needs oil.

Hmm, I don't know how to operate it manually if it is possible.

First, don't put oil in the pump. It takes ATF I believe. If your top is moving slowly, this is more than likely the problem. I have had to add fluid to both of mine. Pull the seat and you will see the pump mounted in the middle behind the back. There is a black rubber plug on the right side. Pull it out carefully so you don't rip it. Get a turkey baster with a short bit of tubing on it and you can refill the pump easily.

I did put my top up manually once. You can do it. That is the reason I finally put fluid on my 1st vert.
