Default 95 fuel odor in car

i just noticed this today i was playing around a little bit and i floored it right after i noticed the smell of gas in the car. odd right? it gets better i was doing freeway driving at the time of this so i slowed down to 55 and cruised but i still smell the odor. i get home lift the hood up with engine idling and look around no wet spots no smell what could be happening?

i had kinda the same smell, and the cuase was my a/c hose had a little leak and was dripping on the header, i guess the refrigerent smells like gas when it is burning on the header, it was on the driverside right by the low pressure port, but i would still get under the car after it has been running for a while and look for dark areas and see where the smell gets stronger

Are you sure it is coming from under hood? Reason I ask is the rubber grommet around the fuel filler neck in tank is bad about leaking usually you will get a fuel odor when fuel gets to sloshing around good in tank and also you will start to see a leak there when tank is full.
