Default 1994 Mustang /1995 Mustang Tech Section... Please Read

The 94/95 Tech section is reserved for specific Tech questions relating to the SN95 5.0's. If its a question relating to a general 5.0 topic, please post it in the 5.0 Tech Section. If its a talk topic, please post it up in the 5.0 Talk section.

This will increase exposure and the number of responses to questions for all members. Plus it will help those using the search funtion find information they need easier.

For Example, if you have a question on "What size Fuel Injectors for my 5.0 with mods" and you have a 95 model, the proper place to put it is in the 5.0 Tech Section.

On the other hand if you post up "Need Help installing a Supercharger in my 1994 Mustang GT", the proper place is the 94-95 Tech Section as this will be specific to the 95's as the body and chassis are different.

Thansk for your help.

From the way I understand it, you will have to do some changes to the exhaust manifolds as well.

Try posting over int he 5.0 Tech sections, lots of people are familiar with the 351 swaps.

Hello all, I have a 1995 gt with a bone stock 302 cept for the mac cold air induction. I'm looking to get up to about 600 hp and still keep it streetable. I only have about 89,000 miles on the orginal motor and I was considering stroking it to a 347. Would that be a good start?

do not use the ford letter cams. the exhaust and intake duration are the same. our cars respond much better to cams favoring the exhaust. The steed #19 and afm b-21/31 cams are a great choice and our computers love them.

351W Conversions, Every Nut and Bolt

There is much more in a 351w swap than people think, here is a great stat it has pretty much everything u need.

the setup isnt that bad, but those injectors are WAY too big and the cam is deffinatly not what u want to go with. You need a cam with greater exhaust duration and a more narrow lsa angle. I would recomend the afm b-31 cam. Its also aa little more aggresive. as for power, your not going to make as much as you think you may. Those heads are not going to flow NEAR enough for a 347. I would reccomend some thumper or gt40p from tri state cylinder heads. Great heads, big valves, but just need swap headers. for the injectors i would go with 24#

i did a ton of research before i built my motor. most of the articles i read said that the 331 stroker is much more street friendly...google "347 stroker piston rings failing", and there will be articles about stroke ratio and how it wears out the rings if the ratio is too high. makes sense but i'm not an expert by any means. i'm not sure you can get 600hp out of a 331. not sure how streetable you will be either way...but you will have a blast. my 331 dyno'd at 355hp and the rear wheel don't stop spinning until i hit 3rd gear.
