no the u/d just use a smaller crank pulley so the ac alt. and power steering turn slower (the kit comes with a bigger water pump pulley so it wont overheat) and with the water pump pulley u dont have to get a different size belt

The bigger water pump pulley from a complete underdrive pulley kit (crank, alternator, water pump) slows down the water pump and makes the engine MORE likely to overheat at idle. The bigger alternator pulley also slows down the alternator and can cause charging problems at idle. Both problems can be solved by raising the engine's idle speed.
The underdrive crank pulley is smaller than stock and slows down all belt-driven accessories including the AC and PS pump. If you want to delete the AC altogether, just buy a shorter belt and reroute it.
Does anyone have any feedback on what programs i should burn into my computer. I have the tweecer rt programmer but really dont know what i am doing. If anyone has any suggestions i would really appreciate it. I have a 94 mustang gt with trick flow manifold, 1:6 ratio roller rockers, b303 cam, full cold air intake, flowmasters exaust, 24lb injectors. The engine is running way to rich and it keeps stalling on me. I would definitly appreciate any feedback thanks.
So I just had a pair of magnaflow mufflers put onto the stock cat back exhaust. Are there any adverse affects to slapping say an o/r h-pipe on there? The mufflers sound nice but I want it a little bit louder.
ok im sorry but im really gonna have to disagree with davidnc lol one of my FAVORITE things about our SN95s is that our cars still look good and have that cool setup for our rear axle wrap so all in all in my personal oppinion, like previously mentioned gears are a good way to get her to throw u in ur seat, any kinda airflow upgrades are always good and add up but with the 5 speeds in particular to really get good with them i highly reccomend a short throw shifter depending on budget i have a B&M short throw in my car and i love it... so i would build the car from tires up to the motor (as these parts are more likely to fail with a really powerful motor and an awesome motor does u no good if u cant get the power to the ground) soooo stiffen up the rear suspension, do gears and i have yet to try the aluminum driveshaft, monsterous clutch and 8lb flywheel trick lol ill let ya know when i have all that
i have about 1500 hundred to do a complete set up i wana go turbo on my 3.8 is it possabile to get it all done for that im looking for a kit i can throw on my self
personally i have only ran v8s my whole life so i dunno what to tell ya on that one ts94 sorry bud good luck but my main advice is build up ur drivetrain to handle more horsepower THEN build a motor cuz u can have all the power in the world but if u cant get it to the ground then it does u no good

Hi everybody i have a 1995 mustang gt it has maybe about 136,000 miles on it and wanted to put bbk tb 70mm, bbk headers, take off the cats i have bbk cold air kit and maybe put a trick flow intake manifold or a edlebrock rpm 2 intake manifold and my question is does my stang have to many miles or would it be ok and if it was what kind of hp do yall think i would be getting?
ok bullit for ur question i would go ford racing #24 injectors if u have a few bolt ons for added air intake and for u juan, ur car is a lot younger than mine lol and the beautiful thing about "bolt ons" are that u can simply unbolt them from ur old motor and bolt them back on a new motor u just bought/built so i would buy them if ur limited on money it will make the car a little bit more fun to drive and trust me ur cars still young if u dont hurt it too much u could prolly get 200k out of it but thats just my personal experience as most of my ford 302s have lasted to about 250 to 350k... but if u have more money say about 1200 bucks to invest i would rebuild a motor (providing u know how to build it urself its about 1200-1600 for a decent set up stock size and all but 0 miles when ur done) just a "if i were in ur shoes with a certain budget"
