Default Header questions?

Was planning on purchasing a set of headers soon. Was planning on getting bbks,(unless someone can suggest something better) There wont be any problems with them hooking up to my Flowmaster exhaust will there? And can someone tell me what the difference between equal and unequal length headers are? And also if i swapped my heads out for a set of gt40 heads in the future would the headers fit or not?

GT40P heads need specific headers to avoid spark plug problems. BBK is a good header, there's also MAC, Hooker, Edelbrock, JBA, Kooks, Flowtech, they all make shorties and equal lengths.
The difference between the two is the equals have as close as possible to having the same length for the tubes, equalizing the exhaust pulses so each one will help pull the next exhaust pulse from the next cylinder. This improves the final power output. Usually the difference is 10-12 hp for the shorties, it's 15-18 for the equals. And yes, they'll bolt right up to the mid pipes you have now.
