Hey,
So here's my problem. My mustang tends to leak coolant, but here's the strange part. If it sits outside over night (its cold here in canada) it leaks coolant, If I park it inside my garage (insulated) it wont leak if it sits over night. Someone told me that the mustang radiators tend to do this in cold weather, is this true?

metal(iron) and aluminum will expand when they warm up and shrink when they get colder, the change is minimal but sometimes that what it takes to stop the leak

how much does it leak? are you sure it leaking form the radiator? i know the 94-95 radiators have plastic on the outer edges and then aluminum bent over that and can leak by there, i would see where its leaking from

There's a plastic gaurd right under the rad if I remember correctly. I remember seeing some coolant on the drivers side of the gaurd. But it hasnt leaked the last 2 days in my garage.

if you dont want to repair it them just keep a eye on the coolant level
