Default This is becoming a Common problem, Lack of power! But I have my codes! Can You Help

My 94 has ford motorsport headers, an off road h-pipe, (formerly flomaster 40s) now Magnaflow magnapacks and the K&N FIPK. My problems have been around since I bought the car jeezz... back in 1997 (even with the flowmasters)?
My car has pinged in the past, idling around in a car lot it will load up and take off like a bat out of H--- and ping at the same time.... The rest of the time it could be beat by a 1.3l honda civic 4dr.... The check engine light comes on about 30sec after starting the car every time I drive it....
I have tried all the small things, like cleaning all the sensors, resetting the computer with no resolve.
My friend has a Mac Tools Maximizer analyzer that we plugged into the car a couple times..... Every time we get the same codes, 181:Adaptive Fuel rich limit reached at part throttle, right side, 189: Adaptive Fuel rich limit reached, left side, 332: Insufficient EGR valve opening detected... So, I would imagine that the EGR valve would need to be replaced? Who Knows? I only drive the car a couple times a year, but I would love for the car to be up to 100%..... I am tired of driving a dog....

Should I take it to my ford dealer? What would you guys do?

I'd take it to the dealer for a diagnostic test. That will test everything to see what isn't operating properly.

The FORD service manual says to check these in the following order for codes 181 and 189

-check fuel pressure (35-45 PSI)
-check systems abolity to retain fuel pressure
-air intake
-MAP sensor
-fuel injector electrical circuit
-fuel filter
-vacuum
-air filter

for code 332

-vacuum hose leak
-obstructed vaccum hose
-Obstructed EGR vacuum regulator (EVR) solenoid filter
-damaged EVR solenoid
-damaged EVP sensor
-damaged EGR valve

My guess is that your problem stems from the EGR valve. I would check that you have vacuum going to the EGR valve. You should have two hoses going to your EGR valve, red and green. I believe the red one should be vacuum all the time while the car is running. If that doesnt have vacuum, your vacuum is messed up. Trace the hose back to find out where the vacuum stops.

If the red hose does have vacuum, check for
-EVR solenoid
-EVP sensor
-replace EGR valve

in that order.

good luck
