Anyone on this site go to the track? It looks like our track in Calgary is closing. I only go once or twice a year but looks like I might have to go up your way. It looks like you have Friday night Streets for 1/4 mile racing. How is the track and are there a lot of racers there usually? BTW, don't hold it against me I'm from Calgary, I lived in Edmonton for 20 years.

I like to go to Castrol Raceway when I can find the time. I'm just south of Edmonton about an hour. They have really built a nice facility and it continues to grow and improve.
Nice to see a fellow Albertan.
The airial photo on their website looks pretty impressive and apparently they have a long-term lease and the place sounds like it is thriving. The lease for Race City down here ran out, and the city won't renew it, they want to use the land.
What kind of times do you get and with what mods?

I go to Castrol Raceway on Fridays when I get the chance. May 4 th 2009 is the scheduled season opener for the street legals. Hard to see that happening when it's still snowing here.
Anyone here go to Edmonton Castrol Raceway?
