Default faith in AM restored!

its true, my faith in american muscle is now renewed and stronger than ever. im sure most of you read about my little debacle, but dan (american muscle tuner) gave me a call this morning about a question i asked nick. i asked nick, since my computer wasnt working for the bama tune, and since i bought the bama tune because the AM tune wasnt tuned correctly, if they could do anything about me having to send my tuner to jasper alabama to have to doug load it on there. well as i said, Dan called me and said that what he will do is, if i sent him the email containing the bama tune, then he would load both the bama 93 race tune, and the AM performance tune onto a BRAND NEW tuner, then send that new tuner out TODAY, along with a tag so i can return the old tuner FREE OF CHARGE. he did not have to do this, this goes above and beyond my expectations. so instead of getting my tune next week (because doug is a some dyno event in florida later this week) i will be getting it tomorrow or friday! in a world of crumbling customer service, and only being 19 years old, i have never once had any business go this far to make sure i got what i want/need. everybody and everyone makes mistakes, and whether this had been my fault, their fault, a fluke accident, or what have you, they definitely took care of it. like i said, everybody makes mistakes, and how businesses handle them seperates the good businesses from the GREAT businesses. and american muscle is a great business. as long as i own a mustang (which i plan on being FOREVER) they will get my business. now i have a nice plan for my next purchase....can you say SHAKERRR!!!??

Glad to hear you got everything hammered out. But to be honest dude, next time you have an issue like this it should be resolved in private. Bashing people on the open forums just makes people look bad and isn't becoming on a mature fellow stanger. You kinda backed AmericanMuscle into a corner and they almost had no way out. If i was in their shoe's i would have performed the same customer service to you as well to ensure that you had maximum satisfaction. I work in customer service full time here at the airport with some high-profile clients and i know that making the customer happy is your top priority.

I am glad to hear that you are happy. And if you ever have an issue like this with something in the future, don't hesitate to drop me a PM and we can try and solve the issue in private.

*Rant over*

i cant be more with this one! hot shot you said it all. if you have a problem with a company you take it up with the company not go online to a forum that has over a 1000 members and start bashing on the company that is also one of the site sponsers!!!!!!! they had to provide you with 300% customer service because they did'nt want you to go on bashing them. but hey you got what you wanted right?

first of all, hotshot, i called american muscle, TWICE to get it done in private, they said they would call me back, and did not. this is a forums site where people come to talk about mustang issues, this happened to be a mustang issue. if you are going to get upset at me for posting this, then you should also go to every thread bashing RPMoutlet and blue oval industries and post the same thing there. if anything, i would be happy to be american muscle right now. because of my rant, they may have noticed some sort of a flaw in their order process that may be able to get resolved now. i also work in customer service, and i realize that the best way to realize your shortcomings, are for things to go wrong, and getting more opinions on the matter. I also know that the bigger wave you make, the better ride you get, i know it is not the most desirable thing for any company, but i am sick and tired of being thrown for a loop in customer service, so many times i dont bring businesses shortcomings to their attention because i dont want to cause a scene or what have you, but i felt it was the time. in my other thread i apologized that my frustration got to me.

and shelby girl, yes they gave me 300% customer service, but the point im trying to make is that i shouldnt have to b!tch and moan to get that kind of customer service, from ANY business, with the way the economy is, businesses should be bending over backwards and jumping through hoops to keep their customers, especially customers, like me, who spend thousands of dollars at their store, and who plan on spending thousands more there. if i was american muscle, i would gladly take the small loss taking care of me know, so i continue to be a loyal customer and spend another 3000-4000 dollars i plan to spend there! i can almost gauruntee if i did not post on AFM, AM never calls me back, i get frustrated, and the next time i need mustang parts, i would strongly consider spending that 4000 dollars elsewhere. say what you will about me, but the point is, i got what i needed, and american muscle got what it needed, a lifelong customer that will continue to spend money, and recommend people to them, and i did actually tell dan that when i talked to him last, i told him that they just made me a loyal customer for life.

*end longer rant*
