Angry Very frustrated with American Muscle

ok i ordered my front and rear break pads and rotors two weeks ago exactly. i have not got any of my items at all. i called AM and some guy around 4 days ago he told me i should have them today...well guess what i have nothing...i never received a processed or shipped email after i got my approved email...on the site it said the items were in stock andddd when i called he said the status of my order was just being shipped that day. I need breaks bad all 4 my current breaks are shot i dont drive right now becuase i screeching noises and stop horrible. if i dont get my shtt by tuesday night im done with these people they are playing with 500 dollars of my money and if i dont get my shhh by the end of the week ima go off on some one...people need to give their customers straight answers..if the guy told me it would be here saturday at the latest then it better dam sure be here

I am really surprised! I have ordered several items from AM without a problem! I feel your frustration, maybe call and ask for Nick Tuesday morning just to touch base? Get a tracking number? Just a thought... I hope it's there for ya Tuesday!!

yeahhh i got my "small" stuff fast too. in my opinion this is my first ...i dunno big heavy purchase from them and thats why its taking a long time?...i usually got my stuff 2 or 3 days later...

i am also frustrated with american muscle.. i orderd the air intake kit from them and i got it tuesday. i installed it last monday and the filter fell off on a very busy road and was crushed into pieces. I know for a fact i tightned all the clamps securley and when i got home i checked my cold air intake. i noticed my clamp was still sitting in the fender. i was suprised to see that the clamp was how do i put it snapped in half kinda. i called american muscle and told them what had happend and they said they cant help me out. they cant even send me a new air filter for the CAI that i orderd from them. so i am very unpleased with their customer service. i am also out 80 bucks and have a whole bunch or dust in my engine now because of their crappy clamp! yes i had to drive about 3 miles home on a busy road without an airfilter. when i got home i just put my stock CAI back on. i think i should be re-embursed for the air filter or they send me a new air filter and this time ill use my own clamps. unless they can get this situation all figured out i will no longer order from them.....

ps. this is the CAI kit i orderd from them

Now that is truly surprising especially since the last few reviews claim the clamps don't fit... did you get to speak with Nick, specifically? Best of luck with this! I know after situations are thoroughly reviewed, Nick is very fair!

Floss... sounds like you are having some hard times for real. I've used AM and haven't had any issues. Next time you call ask for Nick like the other folks are saying or ask for another supervisor. I am sure once you explain your story they will help out (they like our money).

I Know you pain! I had the same problem with a different on line store and im out $114.But with American muscle My orders are always on time. Do they Know your with this forum ? since they are one of the sponsors .

nick will defnitely help you out. he sure helped me out when i had my tuner fiasco. every company, no matter how good is gonna make a mistake here and there, its how that company deals with that mistake that sets them apart. AM will forever receive an A+ in my book. just talk to them, they are very fair!

Wow, what a shock, I have ordered many times and they have been awesome! Must be a fluke. Certainly not intentional .
With the long holiday weekend it may be after before someone can clear this up for you. Keep us posted for sure! I am sure you will get the assistance needed for American Muscle! They rock!

i have placed many orders with AM, my biggest being a $1,600 order for my rims and tires of which one of them UPS "lost". AM promptly sent me a replacement rim and tire after waiting the 2 weeks for the UPS claim to fall through so that AM didn't get screwed either. You have to remember that they are a business and can't give handouts all day long for free, they need to pay their own salaries. As for the filter, ask around here on the forum and someone will hook you up with an AEM dry-flow one to the righ specs for like $40-50 bucks.

AM will always get an A+ from me, especially with their 16 hours delivery time from the time i clicked "buy"

I orders some part, they charged me . 2 weeks later nothing. Called Mustangsunlimited and its was cheaper and had it in to days. Call AM back to see the status because a spare is always good. Still nothing. Cancelled the order and got my money back. I bet if they started doing COD's we would get our parts.
