Could something inside be dammaged? 1" deep 2" Dia. (2001 'Tang.)

welcome! could be anything, if its a dent popping out, could be internal, if its pushed in, could be road damage, stick rock etc, or jacking it

X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY , , , The dent is inward, What I am wondering, is; is there anything inside that could be dammaged, like Screen, Pump, e,t.c.

not sure on those trannys typicly no its just a pool of fliud. as long as it works, leave it alone

I would probably still check it out or atleast replace the pan. you don't want anything else popping it again. It could have hit your filter or anything or could be close to touching the valve body.
