AM promptly waiting for the claim to expire, fought UPS and in the meantime sent me a new one

ok well stay calm ive dealt with american muscle and they handle things pretty well with me but i also read that you said "american trucks" n i have never heard of that i hope this time around everything is proper and works out fine for you
I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your lights. Please PM me with your order information and I'll pass it along to AmericanTruck's Customer Service Manager so they can contact you to help resolve this.
As it's been pointed out, we are not a manufacturer, we are a retail company so we don't make them. Of course we always stand by the products we sell and honor our replacement policies if there are issues. We do our best to carry the best parts available, but no matter how good a company's manufacturing tolerances are, no company is above a few defective parts sometimes. That's why warranties exist.
On a side note, please keep in mind that while AmericanMuscle and AmericanTrucks are sister companies, we are separate identities with separate personnel. When you have an issue with AmericanTrucks, the best thing to do is to contact their customer service department, as it will ensure that you receive a fast and appropriate response. Plus, while AmericanMuscle has as much love and respect for trucks as we do for Mustangs, Mustang talk really belongs on Mustang forums and truck talk really belongs on truck forums.
Taiwan, thats the premium quality stuff, mainland is the cheap stuff. Had to wait 5 months for my '08 GTCS 'cause they were waiting for the chinese wheels and Mexican transmission. Assembled in America is all we have left, at best. Haven't had any bad product out of AM personally, bought wheels and Fogs.
I got a set of MGP caliper covers from AM and they did not fit no matter what on my calipers(still unknown why )..anyways i put alot of time into these trying to get them to fit right and when i could't i was aggravated to the point of no return..anyways called AM and explained everything to them and there customer service not only was excellent but they sent me a label to ship it back and refunded my money in a very reasonable amount of time..+++1 to AM..best company I ever dealt with,,,,try going to places that don't give a crap like cruising concepts..
AM sells a mix of good and low end stuff. You are going to get approximately what you pay for. They are always price competitive, if not the cheapest. Shipping is fast, and usually free in my experience. Maybe always free? I will do my research and buy from them again.

Ground shipping is always free to the lower 48 states. Also, because I get this question a lot, free shipping doesn't mean that UPS just delivers things for us (but how cool would that be?). It means that we actually pay to ship the parts out. See how much we love our customers?

I understand that AM is going to make it right !@ like i said they are sending me new lights!! Trust me im a big fan of AM they have sent me great parts over the years for my love of mustangs!! I will continue to buy parts from them with pride the name does say AMERICAN MUSCLE thats why I didnt buy a ricer.. And as far as im conserned MY ford pride lies with my fox AND F-150 ..
Yeah I dont blame AM, I have bought a pretty good amount of parts through them, but I usually stick to the names I know, not the made in taiwan products. I love the fact that I dont have to pay for shipping and my parts show up about 16 hours later if only they stocked a bigger selection of parts like more heads/intakes/nitrous kits (hint hint)
So today i recieved my new set of halo projector headlights!! I wire the back of them tape everything real pretty likeWhen I go to mount themi SEE AN EXTRA PLUG i HAVNT SEEN BEFOR. I start looking at it WTF!!! iTS MISSING THE HIGHBEAMS THAT HOOK TO THE LOW BEAM!!!!!!! wHERE dOeS tHis eNd!!!
I'm a big fan of AM, lots of goodies on that site. I just wish after you've bought over a grand worth of stuff they sent you one of those AM T-shirts, for free, can I get a witness?
