Hey this is my story!! I recently bought a 97 f-150.. not a great truck but has potential.. I ordered the halo projector lights from american so called muscle, and as soon as i open the box it says made in tiawan!! WTF!!!!!!!! That was the first sign of plenty bad news to come.. I spent two hours installing them proper and without error to find out that i couldnt mount them due to assembled wrong from factory or wherever there made!! so another week goes by, today I found the new ones on my porch really excited to finally drive my new whip!! So i take them out the box and run a light test to make sure everything works fine !!1 Just to find out that there is a short in the row of LED s and ojne of the bulbs does not work!! after talking to two people from american so called muscle i felt pretty dumb!! or at least wanted to shoot myself.. i finally convienced them ive installed 3 setS of these lights WITHOUT ERROR!!! AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THESE CHEAP LIGHTS NOT WORKING.. so to make a long story short, im waiting on a new set of cheap halo lights.. at least they could have offered some promo somthing for my trouble. all i get is a set of cheap lights hope they work...
I have to tell ya, I'm surprised to hear this! I know AM has excellent customer service, I've dealt with them personally several times - and it's clear they care by their effort to send you out new "working" lights...

american muscle doesn't carry f150 parts sooo im sort of confused already. Personally, haven't had a single issue with any of my am parts or there customer service.

I really wanted to IMPLODE on the customer service rep.. I understand its not his fault, but dam can you blame me?? 2 and a half weeks my truck still sitting in the garage. If i have to drive my car in the rain im gone be HOT!!
I bought some of those lights before...not from AM, but I am pretty sure they are the same ones. I got mine and half of the little LED's were not working. I had to remove them all and re-solder new wires to them to get them to work. Have not had a problem with them since. Its just bad manufacturing. Try not to get too mad at AM for that Some places would have said adios to you after the first exchange.
my exp`s with a.m. have been pretty good, sometime things happens, like my strut brace didnt fit right, but they provided great customer service and i got one from them that worked out great. they have been pretty good to us here. check out the geniune ford parts package for some grommets i bought from the dealer

Still, I HAVE had problems with parts arriving bent, or the packaging being bent/torn. I went through 2 sets of StackRacing Sequential Tail Lights from AM before I gave up and got WebElectrics.
I'll still buy parts from them, but NO ONE is perfect.

Exterior: Roush Front Fascia w/o chin spoiler, Black Billet Foglight Delete Grille, hidden smoked foglights, GTS Blackout Panel, smoked tail lights, WebElectric Sequential tail lights, MUSTANG 3rd brake light, 14" Shorty Antenna. Interior: Red piping, RVinyl Aluminum Dash Kit, CDC Aluminum Pedal Covers.
Any other place will tell you that was an instalation error.... they are pretty good on handling this types of issues. Also, most of this electronic upgrades or light are made overseas it just cheaper there..... they are trying to give you the best bang for your buck.... How much did you spend in these set?

Those projector holo lights are junk though. They are made overseas, they look ricey. I would get some stock lights, especially for a F150. I don't think it's user error, just the lights. Get your money back and go OEM.
I've been buying Stang parts from AmericanMuscle back when they were MustangTuning, which some didn't know that, spent tons of money with great customer satisfaction in the past, almost, 6 years.
They will do everything to help you but like most places, they can only do so much.
Go OEM, i think it will look better that way
