Default 2007 Mustang fuse box/kick panel

I want to hard wire my radar detector to the fuse box. Two (probably stupid) questions: I see the fuse box behind the passengers side kick panel, but for the life of me I can't see how you pop off the fuse box cover. Also, I see the large bolt below the fuse box itself and it seems I would need to start there to get to the back side of the fuse box, but I do not see screws anywhere that would allow me to remove the kick panel that surrounds the fuse box...Does anyone have some experience to pass along here?

My suggestion would be to wire directly to the ignition harness ( gray/yellow is your accessory wire), only because if you tap into the fuse box to a circuit that can only handle the load it currently has you can damage sensitive electronics and/ or set off the check engine light. I'm not saying that the fuse box idea won't work, but the ignition harness is a fool proof way to get a key-controlled turn on without any regrets.
