The factory amp for the door subs is behind the dash on the drivers side; not the easiset place to get to. Why would you want to bridge them? They hit pretty hard as-is. It would likely just cause more rattling in those door panels than is already there.

I have an aftermarket HU with the special harness that allows them to play and they are perfect. I almost regretting the 12's that I have in the trunk sometimes.

I have read about this in several posts. But still can't find the how to instructions. I have searched this website from top to bottom and even looked in STL's closet full of left-over mods.

I would also like to find out a couple of more things about the stereo and the front subs.

1- Where is the crossover on the door subs? Are they in the radio, the amps, or on the actual speaker? I am getting ready to change the head unit and speakers.
2- How do you bridge the door amps?
3- Anyone with the Shaker1000 swap their subs in the trunk?
4- Which door speakers allow you to reuse the factory covers with little to no modifications? (I like stealth installs)

Thanks for the information in advance, ya'll.
