Question dvd e brake bypass

i have a pyle headunit, was tryen to find out how to bypass the e brake so it will play dvds while the car moves. can u just ground the e brake wire?

Hmm, I replied to this last night but now its gone. Anyways, grounding it might work, but with a lot of companies when it is hooked up to the e-brake you have to cycle the e-brake on for two seconds, off for two seconds, and then on to get the dvd player to play, or something like that. My friend fixed this by connecting the e-brake wire to a hidden toggle switch in the center console and it has been working for two years now.
