Default sub's for 2006 Mustang new wave or old school?

I got the shaker 500 I think it's very good not great! but good , very good (much better than the real crap they would put in, back in the day) but I need, NEED! more bass, boom, thump in my gidd-up!... ok you get it. sooo.... basslink 2 or the new kenwood KSC-SW1 they are both flat and will fit under the seats (i'll get 2) or do I go old school and stuff two 12'' w/ amp in the trunk?
hmmmm any thoughts?

I had the Shaker 1000, with the dbl 10"s in the enclosure in the trunk.

First thing I did was take out the 4 stock amps, and put in my 800w amp and set the gains and crossover the way I wanted it.

That alone got me a lot better bass.

I also replaced the deck which gave me better control over the subs.

I have thought about changing the stock 10" sub speakers with something else and still use the stock enclosure, but so far it's met my needs.

but I am a rock guy, so I want bass drum kick and bass guitar definition. It does OK on the rap and hip hop stuff, but no where near what some of those guys want.

PS - I disconnected the door subs, they just rattled the doors, and made it too much bass. I like to actually hear the rest of the instruments as well

Later this year I plan to add a JL Audio stealthbox to my 2006 Mustang GT. It fits where the stock Shaker 1000 subwoofer would have gone, but my car just had the Shaker 500, which I have slowly been replacing. So far, I added an Alpine head unit and some Infinity Kappas in the rear deck. I have been waiting for a "decent" day to install the Infinity Kappas in the doors.

Default I can do that

what amp did you use to push the stock 10's from the shaker 1000, and where did you mount it? I can get the stock sub's from a guy I met on line but I'll need either the stock amp or an after market one. any info would be a great help
