Default upgrading shaker 500 speakers

I would like to start upgrading my system, but slowly..am gonna start with the door and rear deck speakers..from what I have read they are a two piece front door speaker, a 4" and a tweeter, and the rears are 6 x 9's..if I'm wrong let me no, I can turn a wrench but I'm admittedly no car audio guru..
1- is it ok to get a two way door speaker with the tweet built in, if so which is the best size?
2- for the rear deck speakers, do I go with two or three way speakers and the best size..

I no this will not solve all sound quality issues but it's where I'm gonna start..Thanks in advance

the fronts and rears are a 6x8 speakers. the door subs are 8in but theyre extremely shallow. the factory fronts are 2 way door speakers with tweets built in on the 07s...on the 05-06 theyre a small woofer and tweeter built onto a 6x8 speakers plate. you can go with either 2 or 3 ways for the back. i would go with some 2 ways in the back and 3 ways in the front....or 3 ways all around b/c you already have decent bass with the 8in woofers.

Will I notice a substantial sound diff with just these two sets replaced??
