Default Windows Media Player mp3 discs?

I apologize if this issue has been hit before. I did a little research and found that the shaker 500 is pretty picky on the discs and software used to burn them in deciding what it wants to play. All my music in my library is mp3 format but I can't get a mp3 disc to play when I burn it in WMP. I use to use musicmatch and it worked great until they stopped supporting it a few months ago and it hasn't been the same. Yahoo jukebox works Ok and plays in the shaker but it is so stripped down and doesn't have any options that I like (eg. resampling down to 160 bps). I have tried all types of different discs and speeds and the best I could do was get one track to work out of the 175 that I put on it. Any ideas on how to get WMP discs to work in the shaker?

personally, i use windows XP to burn the MP3 CDs. if you are using windows XP or higher, you can just drag the mp3 files onto the CD drive. then burn them.

I figured it out. The problem was when WMA resamples the tracks to 160bps it also coverts the file to WMA format, which the skipper 500 doesn't recognize.

I have a skipper 500 sitting on the shelf in one of my closets if you need another one that doesn't work!
