Default 2004 Mustang possible damage to roof or glass with audio system? (vert)

Is it a possibility (running 2 12" Kicker CVRs) that the convertible roof frame or glass(top up or down) will break? I love my car to death and wouldnt want anything bad to happen to the top or the glass because of my audio. Your input is gladly appreciated.

Thank you in advance. I didnt see this posted so i figured id ask.

well it all depends on the power your putting out of the subs. I haven't seen these subs myself but depending on the excursion it could damage something. BUT... being a convetable the top is going to take the brunt of the beat. but with two kickers (what are they 1200W?) they are not likly to do any damage. you might just have some trouble seeing out of the mirrors.

No the glass wont break, No it wont hurt your top. But if you care about your car I suggest you get some DYNOMAT or similar product. It stops vibrations and improves overall sound quality. I don't know how anybody with a subwoofer in their car can live without it. Do you want to stop that license plate rattle? Want those other rattles to stop? Use DYNOMAT. More important it will help keep screws, fasteners, nuts & bolts from vibrating loose all over your vehicle.

the rear veiw mirror probably broke when it hit the ground. it takes alot of movement to break your window glass.

Heres an example its already broke and the mirror fell off he has 3 very high output amps that are modded, 9 batteris and i think 3 high output altinators, something around or over 10,000 watts.

heres some real flexxx
