Default Aftermarket Radio Mounting Kit

I just purchased a Dual XHD6425 head unit and i got the Metra (Circuit City) mounting kit with it from looking at the kit do i actually screw it to the dash it appears that it just sits in the recess and is held by 4 screws. also my radio has been hacked out by previous owner and all i have is wires no connectors, i found the wiring diagram on here but I'm just checking to make sure that this is right. because i noticed that the Pink/Blue wire is listed more than once and so is the green/orange wire is this a miss print or are these wires shared by the speakers. for a 89 GT

Green/Yellow Constant12v
Yellow/Black Switched 12v
Speakers
Orange/Green LF+
Light Blue/White LF-
White/Green RF+
Green/Orange RF-
Pink/Green LR+
Pink/Blue LR-
Pink/Blue RR+
Green/Orange RR-

I just don't want to wire it up wrong and blow my new deck. Any Info is appreciated

Flex

The deck should be ok, if you ground out a wire the deck will go into "safe-mode". I found this out when I had a speaker wire ground out and called Alpine about it. But as far as he wiring, I am not sure, sorry....

As far as the mounting bracket, yes, it just uses 4 screws to secure the deck to the dash.

OK i went out and looked i think i see the amp way in the back of the hole where the radio used to be. so where exactly are the harnesses that go into the amp. so i can just splice into those or do they make a kit to plug into those plugs on the wires before the amp. I'm a little confused on what exactly i need to wire my deck to in order for it to work correctly and i don't want to unplug the wrong harnesses.
